Christmas letterbox Zug
The Zug Cantonal Women’s Association is showing solidarity with its Christmas letterbox and Zug emergency aid. The focus is on providing quick, unbureaucratic help for neighbours in need, both big and small. Thanks to donations such as ours, the Christmas letterbox team can provide some relief and joy at Christmas, for example with vouchers to buy food or finance other urgent necessities. Throughout the year, Zug Emergency Aid offers such start-up and bridging assistance. All employees involved are volunteers.
Every year, during a small Christmas celebration at Lüssihof, we auction off all the Christmas gifts we receive from custodian banks, suppliers, partners, and clients. Wine, Basler Läckerli, panettone, prosecco, wool blankets, umbrellas, calendars, honey, and much more go under the hammer. Our employees always show great generosity. At the auction in December 2025, more than 12’000 CHF was raised. The managing directors Maurice Pedergnana, Timo Dainese, Cyrill von Burg, Alfred Künzle and Michel Schoch then doubled this amount. This allowed us to support both the Christmas Letterbox and Swiss Mountain Aid with a donation of 12’000 CHF each.
