Zug on Ice
As part of our commitment as a ZugSPORTS platform partner, we support Zug on Ice. The romantic lighting on Postplatz in the heart of the city of Zug enchants young and old alike in winter.
Delightful scents of mulled wine, lovingly decorated chalets, and a small ice rink create a magical world that gets visitors into the spirit of winter. With punch, coffee, or mulled wine to choose from, you can warm up after a leisurely circuit on the ice with a hot drink and refuel with a snack.
Admission to the site is free. Gliding over the ice in the heart of the city and in the fresh air is fun for the whole family and is the ideal activity to really enjoy the winter. In the morning, the ice rink is exclusively available to school classes, nursery schools, kindergartens, and playgroups via the School-on-Ice offer.
Curling is also becoming an increasingly popular winter sport in Switzerland and should definitely be on the agenda when visiting Zug on Ice. Two curling lanes are available on the ice rink during the day and with integrated LEDs in the evening, which you can rent exclusively for yourself and your family for a round of curling. This unique location is also ideal for corporate events.
