Zugerberg Finanz Classic
As part of our various commitments in the field of sport and exercise, we support the Zugerberg Finanz Classic as a Presenting Partner. The Zugerberg Finanz Classic was founded in 1996 as a successor to the traditional Zugerberg Lauf race. Every year, more than 250 runners complete the 6.8-kilometre route with 540 meters of altitude gain on Zug’s local mountain.
The race takes place on the first Wednesday of June, “Global Running Day”. The starting point is Landsgemeindeplatz by Lake Zug. The route includes a loop through the lower and upper old town with plenty of atmosphere and extra local color. The finish line is at the Institut Montana.
Once at the top, the runners not only enjoy the wonderful view over the most beautiful canton in Switzerland, but can do so without worrying about the way down, as the return journey on the Zugerberg train back to the city is included in the entry fee.
