Zugerberg Finanz economics workshops for young people

Understanding the economy. Shaping the future.

With our regular economics workshops, we aim to get young people aged 13 to 17 interested in economic topics and help them understand key issues such as markets, money, banking, and investments. Under the expert guidance of our Chief Economist, Prof. Maurice Pedergnana, and our CIO, Cyrill von Burg, participants will gain clear, practical insight into how the economy and capital markets work.

In an inspiring environment, the young people grapple with fundamental questions: how do markets work? What role do banks play in the economic system? And why does money have value? Through interactive exercises and lively discussions, they learn to critically examine economic developments and better understand interrelationships.

The workshop takes place at the Lüssihof in Zug. With this commitment, we are helping to improve young people’s financial education and economic awareness in a practical, understandable, and enjoyable way.
