AWI Decarbonization Infrastructure Debt Fund

The AWI Decarbonization Infrastructure Debt investment group provides access to a unique bond solution with concrete benefits for the decarbonization of the global economy – combined with an attractive target return. The investment goal is to generate sustainable, positive total returns through current income, resulting in long-term capital growth. It invests exclusively in bonds issued by companies that provide the necessary infrastructure to decarbonize global value chains and thus play an active role in the transition to a carbon-neutral global economy.

The geographical investment focus is on European debtors, with global issuers also considered occasionally. The positive impact in terms of decarbonization is qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed, checked, and reported by means of a proprietary investment approach on the basis of concrete key performance indicators (KPIs). The average rating tends to lie somewhere in the crossover area between high-grade and high-yield bonds, although it is also possible to invest in those without a rating. Bonds with mandatory conversion clauses, contingent convertibles, and perpetuals are excluded.
