On November 16, 2023, we held a first ever English information event at Lüssihof on the topic of “What now? Inflation, Interest Rates & Investments and Money a Matter of Trust“.

Over 40 Established Expats English EEE speakers arrived in the 200 year old Lüssihof to hear experts and discover ”a hidden gem rooted the heart of Zug”, said a few dual Swiss citizens. Zugerberg Finanz is not a bank, it is an asset manager who recently established an English webpage offering its products and monthly research since Q2 2023.  Its platform is open to download, register for economic events and mailings in English and German, written and managed by the local Zug private asset managers.  Zugerberg Finanz’s history is 24 years old in the natural setting of Zug, employs over 60 people, has had award winning and community engaged sponsorships ongoing, such as Zuger Trophy, Zug Magic and Kids Day.  It manages over 3.4billion chf in assets by picking blue chip global local investments to: private persons, vested pension holders, institutions and family offices.

In a keynote speech, Dr. Pedergnana explained the development of Swiss banks from their origins to the present day, in particular on the UBS CS takeover and how this impacts the current banking arena showing the basic but most important- bank balance sheets. CEO Timo Dainese’s presentation introduced Zugerberg Finanz’s seed ideas, corporate philosophy, values and investment approach for returns, returns, returns. The presentations concluded with brief, secure insight into the current global-local economic situation and Fed Fund Rate predictions.

In summary: The Swiss financial and business center needs strong banks, not one bank. It needs independent asset managers who look after the client assets entrusted to them without any conflicts of interest.
